We called in at lunchtime today. The food was excellent and very good value. Service excellent and a really cosy place with lovely decoration.This will be a regular spot when in the town centre.

Unbelievable food! In the midst of COVID, they did an amazing job of serving very high quality food even in a to-go environment. The food was hot and professionally presented, even in a to-go box.I highly recommend the eggplant parmesan. It is the best in the area. If you order pasta, plan on eating a LOT or sharing. the pasta portion is very large.

Food and service was wonderful! It was hard to hear each other in there, but there was a birthday party at the bar. I would give it another try.

Food was great. Service during covid was spectacular. Only 3 tables occupied when i was there. Absolutely loved our server. Only complaint was that my alfredo sauce was extremely oily. Microwaved the leftovers and half the bowl was oil. Didn't sit all that well on my stomach. Will definitely try a red sauce next time.

Very loud...wait staff seemed extremely stressed out. I think this is more of a place for regulars or the owners family and friends. If you want your veal medium rare...be specific. Mine was swimming in its own blood which leaked into the white wine reduction. Sterling wine pairing suggestions.

4 decades of family tradition and recipes . Large portions and reasonably priced

This place is AWESOME. Locally owned and authentic Italian food. Spectacular service, excellent wine selection, great atmosphere (nice for a date or a family event). The owner (Joe) came to our table to check that everything was good, and spent a few minutes talking with us (great guy). The food was perfect.

House salad was delicious! I had the lobster ravioli in the bianco sauce. It was divine! Not heavy at all, which was what I was looking for. Paired very well with the Malbec. I could only include a pic of one of the raviolis as I had already eaten all of the rest. I did ask for a piece of bread to finish up the sauce! My daughter has the chicken Parmesan and it was pretty much inhaled. She said it was delicious. Atmosphere was wonderful! Wait staff was very helpful and attentive. Add in: ordered the chocolate cake for desert...YUMMY!! Would highly recommend!

Charming little find, great atmosphere. The drink options were ok (not bad, not fantastic) but the food was amazing. Great place for a romantic evening or a night out with friends. I recommend the filet!

Ambiance is good but food lacks Italian quality.

Food was great and service was wonderful. There was only 3 tables occupied in the place so don't know how they handle busyness. Only one complaint and that the Tiramisu. It's about a dollar more but half the size of other Italian restaurants. It was more soggy than what I am accustomed to. I had desert packed to go. I would have rejected it if I had saw it before leaving the restaurant. I called back to express my disappointment and the person on the phone explained that it was made in house and not store bought. I expressed the same falls for several Italian restaurants that I love. To some it up, I judge Italian food really hard because it's my favorite and there are some good choices here in STL. The food, service and atmosphere was great. Scratch the dessert.

I have been to a number of high end Italian restaurants and this place holds its own among the best. I was VERY impressed. Best meatballs I'd ever had. The filet mignot was also the best I'd ever had, a terrific cut and done perfectly. The sauce was amazing. The salted caramel cake was just incredible as well. Living out West our local go-to has been Bristols but I think we've found a new favorite.

Attended a holiday party over there a few nights back, the food was very well prepared and the staff was welcoming and well trained

My wife and I ate here for the first time with friends who had Been here before and it was fabulous! This won’t be our last time here. There was a little issue with service considering how empty the place was, but for food this good, a service hiccup can be overlooked. I had the veal Filippo and my wife had veal Parmesan off the standard menu. Good portions and includes a salad. I also got a side of pasta which was equally out of this world. I’ve traveled the world and the quality and taste is on par with Italian food in Italy. They also had specials that sounded very good but I was already set on the veal dish I saw from the menu. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Terri and I had dinner tonight and I had the lamb chops which were the best I have had in a long time. The caper sauce was off the charts. Terri’s pasta dish was awesome. Highly recommend this place

The food is delicious, service was thoughtful and attentive, and the restaurant has a cozy, neighborhood vibe. I especially enjoyed the musical entertainment provided by "Russellville". Just one man and his guitar playing music from the 70's as well as some contemporary songs made for a wonderful evening. I will definitely be back.

The service and the food was amazing!!!

Visited on Valentine's Day, they were slammed early as expected (plus being Friday), but the kitchen must have been having problems as it took nearly two hours to get pasta (lost a star for that). A side salad took nearly as long. For my Chicken Alredo, it was just OK, call it 4 stars which is not bad, but taken with the long wait, it became a three star experience when it was all over.

I wish Google had more stars because I would go to the maximum amount. This is a very special place because the owner welcomes you and always makes you feel like you're coming home. Dinner was delicious and service was outstanding. Say hi to Joe for me. I had the lamb and it was the best I ever had.

Fun place, not your typical West County place. Nice selection of beers on tap. A bit above standard bar food with very good pizza wings.

The food was delicious. Great service. The place is very nice atmosphere inside. Our first time eating here we were curious why no other customers were there? We will definitely be back regardless if others are there are not.

We met friends here for dinner again and I was so happy with my previous order - Gamberi Bianco - that I ordered it again. It is pasta with a Cajun brandy sauce jumbo shrimp. The sauce might just be drinkable if you could dine in secret. This is also a cute smaller restaurant with a nice, slightly more upscale ambiance. Service was good both times and the location is excellent.

The food was excellent. Our group of 6 each had something different ranging from the steak modega special, the salmon florentine special, eggplant parmesan, and lobster ravioli. The chief problem was our server Kelly who was either tipsy or easily confused. She brought glasses of wine for one of the group that wasnt ordered. She came back by, asked if she had ordered it, had she touched it, then took it to another table. She served plates to some of us that were what we ordered, just a mix up and refilled drinks other than what she had taken away. The bill came with everything in one check. We asked for separate checks at which she complained we should have told her that at the start of ordering. She split the checks but each couple had something they didn't order on their check. She fixed it three times before getting right. Again the food was good, a bit pricey, but the server nmwas lacking.

We had such a lovely dinner. The food was delicious. Jenn was so attentive and patient. She let us try some wines to ensure we had the perfect selection. We will be back time and time again!!

We have been here twice and the service is awful.The last time we were here we had 4 different waiters. Nobody wanted to claim our table.We had to grab a waiter walking by our table to order.They do not provide napkins and silverware in the bar area unless requested. Nobody in the restaurant can tell you the happy hour specials.The owner is always standing around talking to people but not helping out.We came on a Friday both times and there were hardly anybody in the restaurant.The bread was warm on the outside and cold in the middle. They were also out of ravioli. What Italian restaurant runs out of ravioli?We will be going back to Vito’s from now on.

Good pasta but extremely slow service. Waitress was nice but not attentive. Dinner for two took over 90 minutes with just salad and etnree.

Like the food and the atmosphere. Great bar also, and great service. Great date location. You can get pasta at a reasonable price, and the bread is freshly baked and delicious. I would have given it 5 stars, but I worked here a few years ago, and the manager (Joe San Filipo) does not take care of his employees at all. He failed to pay me correct wages 3 times after i confronted him. What is frustrating is that he is incredibly friendly to customers, but behind the scenes he treats his employees like dirt. So just weigh that into your choice. So basically great food, evil manager.

For Valentine's day, the pasta was pathetic. Expected more from here. Very dissatisfied.

Food and service was good, prices were a little higher in comparison to similar restaurants. Did not have Drambuie and that was a little unusual.
